Tiina Nevalainen (b. 1967 in Helsinki) lives in Riihimäki and works at Lumppulinna in Tervakoski. The core element in her paintings has always been colour. Exuberance and abundance are the two qualities that perhaps best describe her work. The feminine figures I portrait are Queens, Goddesses, powerful women who rise above the
occasion. Modern age and Grecian mythology come as one to create a new eternal tale. Love,hate,passion,vengeance all derive from the same urge; everyone wants love and to be loved.
